Various charities may offer a grant to help with the costs of adaptations to get people riding, information on one such charity can be found below:

Example modifications:

• Ryker hand-braking system – moving the brake controls from the right foot to either hand – £1,000
• Foot-boards w/straps & heel stops – to ensure extremities are comfortably secure when riding – £500
• Jockey shift – allows control of forward / reverse shift from a seated position without using the foot control – £299
• Left-hand throttle conversion – moving the throttle controls to the other side of the bike
• Wheelchair mounts – these can be custom fabricated in-house, depending on your mounting requirements
• Backrests of any size, shape, and foldability
• Additional lighting
